Does the Church Replace Israel? Part Four

Image
We Stand with God Flag www.etsy.comlisting1589111068 On the brink of Middle East peace, let’s consider Israel once again. Several years ago, my neighbors had two mammoth trees in their front yard that stood very close to their house. Because the trees were showing signs of age and would cause damage if they fell, my neighbors decided to cut them down. However, they left a good portion of the stumps, intending for a sculptor to carve beautiful figures.   We all know how good intentions go by the wayside, and theirs did, too. For a while, the tall stumps just stood there branchless. Then, to our surprise, we started to see sprouts coming from the tops of these “dead” stumps. The roots were still alive.   As the LORD gave Isaiah his great commission, He told him to go and tell his countrymen to see but not see, hear but not hear, make their hearts dull, ears heavy, and shut their eyes. But when Isaiah asked how long , God cloaked His answer. “Until the cities are...

We Stand with God Flag www.etsy.comlisting1589111068 Did you ever play the game “Blind Man’s Buff”? Some call it “Blind Man’s Bluff,” but originally, the word was “Buff” because those taunting the blinded man would buffet or strike him. I never particularly liked this game since it involved being blindfolded, spun around, and sometimes tripping or running into a wall while trying to tap one of the taunting kids so they would become “it.” [1] But notice, without the blindfold, there was no game.   Many say life is a game, yet in reality, it’s a plan—God’s plan. The Creator desired a love relationship with His creation, but love cannot exist without free will. Therefore, God gave angels and humans freedom to choose: Love or hate, acceptance or rejection.   Satan chose hate and rejection, and then incited the first humans to disobey God’s command. Deceived or not, Eve and then Adam ate the fruit and brought sin into the world. Did sin catch God off guard? No, He had a p...

A Memorial for Charlie Kirk

Charlie Kirk bing.com accessed 9.11.25 My heart is broken for the family of Charlie Kirk.   This brave, brilliant, young, 31-year-old husband and father of two beautiful children was viciously assassinated on the campus of Utah Valley University yesterday, September 10, 2025.   Charlie was a voice of reason on college campuses. But as a true Christian, he was also like John the baptizer, a voice crying in the wilderness, “Prepare and make straight the way of the LORD.” [1]   The One True and Living God raised up Charlie. He gave Charlie the incredible intellect he possessed. The Most High strengthened his faith, increased his understanding of Scripture, and his knowledge of God. Then the Almighty gave Charlie the boldness to speak His Truth to a young generation and expose the evil in the world. But Charlie also spoke wisdom to us in the older generation and demonstrated how to use reason and the Truth of Scripture to reach those with whom we come in contact. ...

DOES THE CHURCH REPLACE ISRAEL? Part Two

www.etsy.comlisting1589111068 In June, I received an email from a website I had accessed earlier for information about toxicity in our food and drinking water, the history of the chemicals, and how these toxins can lead to cancer and other diseases. But this email, a post from their Substack, surprised me, and the title caught my attention: Biblical Israel vs. Modern Israel: A Christian Guide to the Conflict . [1]   I respected the author, so I read the article. It referenced the Tucker Carlson and Senator Ted Cruz interview, and it took us down the road of Israel’s history and Zionism, complete with Scriptures they felt proved their belief in Replacement Theology .   Pondering a response, I opened the comment section. The most recent comment made my blood boil. On June 20 th , Ivan Phillips wrote: “Within the current context, this may be the most important newsletter you have published thus far, and the others have been meritorious, indeed. THANKS FOR THIS NEED...

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1589111068/we-stand-with-god-christian-flag-america Do you believe God’s Word and His promises? Well, that’s a ridiculous question. Of course, I do. Okay, then answer this: When God Most High uttered the words forever , eternal , and irrevocable , did He truly mean unending ? Or are these just momentary words?   The LORD Almighty never speaks frivolous words. He always says what He means and means what He says. Since I came to know Jesus personally and was born again of His Spirit, I have lived by one rule regarding the Bible: God said it and I believe it. Whether the Old Testament or New, “ ALL Scripture is God-breathed …” [1] It’s the Greek word theopneustos , meaning “divinely breathed in [or out].” [2] And, ALL means ALL.   How amazing we are allowed to read words spoken by the King of the Universe, whose covenant, forever, and memorial name is Yahweh, I AM WHO I AM. [3] But that’s not all, believers have an anointing fro...
