“When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became [God’s] sanctuary, and Israel His dominion.” [1]   Thanksgiving is over, and C h r i s t m a s , the time of p e a c e and g o o d w i l l , is fast approaching. But our world is in turmoil, especially the land of Israel.   For 75 years now, the descendants of Jacob/Israel have been back in their own land, yet this exceedingly great army remains in unbelief, blinded in part, to this very day. [2] And while it may seem highly unfair, it’s all part of God’s grand design.   How so? If you believe the Bible, there’s no doubt Israel is God’s chosen, and they belong in the Land of Promise. God Himself watches over them and as He does, He neither slumbers nor sleeps. We also know those who bless Israel, God will bless. Ignorance is bliss. What do I mean? Well, my eyes see so much corruption in our world, and I wish I could return to a time when I didn’t see it. A time of innocence when I walked around with rose-colored glasses thinking we all had a bright and rosy future.   But those days are long past, and my eyes do see.   Still, not all see what I see.
