Meat for the Hungry

However, if you’re new, you may not know I believe God deliberately established two specific nations on this planet. Israel first and then the USA.   Israel is forever—America is not.   Forever meaning only as the LORD God Almighty said through Jeremiah. If the sun, moon, and stars depart from before Him, or if the heavens and earth’s foundations can be searched out (which they cannot be), then, and only then, will Israel cease from being a nation. Have you ever heard of the poem and book, Children Learn What They Live by Dorothy Law Nolte, Ph.D.?   I think I’ve been aware of it all my adult life because my mother would quote it from time to time or at least quote the title. But just to refresh your memory, here’s a short excerpt:  If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn. If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.   I've been working on this prayer since 6 am and I've just now finished. The Lord gave me Job 23:12 this morning when I started but when I read the chapter I knew it was our prayer for today. DAY THREE:  O Lord my God, I am grieved, my complaint is bitter, and my hand is listless because of my groaning. Father, things in our world look bleak and while we try to stand strong in the power of Your might, Your children are frail, and unsure of what You are doing.   Sometimes, Lord, we feel as though we cannot find You, yet because of Your Holy Spirit, we know You are there. Help us to gaze upon Your throne and see you seated with our spiritual eyes. Give us opportunity to present our case before You. Take note of us in Your great power.
