Make haste and give ear to our voices as we cry in Your presence. Let our prayer be set before You as incense , the lifting of our hands as the evening sacrifice. Set a guard, O LORD, over our mouths; keep watch over the door of our lips. Do not incline our heart to any evil thing—to practice wicked works with those who work iniquity. And do not let us partake of their deceitful delicacies. If our thoughts and choices for this election are not following Your holy will, O LORD, let the righteous correct and rebuke us—it shall be kindness and as excellent oil. Let our heads not refuse it. For still our prayer is against the deeds of the wicked. So, therefore, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, let Your people, O LORD, overthrow their judges, representatives, senators, governors, school boards, et al., in every position...

  DAY FOUR:   “Righteous are You, O Lord, when I plead with You; yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper ? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously?” [1]   Father, doom is upon us, and we are undone. Your Word says You have not given us who are bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ a spirit of fear but one of power, love, and a sound mind. And while we believe this, O Lord, because of our inability to see beyond the physical, our souls are terrified by the evil descending. Deliver us from evil.   Help us hope in You because it’s hard for us, especially in America, to imagine the inhumane and vicious persecution of Christians in other countries, but I feel we will know it soon enough. Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? [1] You would almost think these words are right out of newspaper headlines and television news, but they’re not. This question was penned by King David about three thousand years ago and then reiterated by Peter about one thousand years later. Yet, since then, things have not really changed. Nations still rage and people continue to plot and carry out vain things. Case in point, the political lies coming out of the news media and specifically the three CNN employees who resigned on June 26, 2017, when an article they wrote had to be retracted. I’m sure this has always been the situation with the media, but no one, up until this point, has been brave enough to say it. Maybe others out there knew some in the media greatly embellish their stories with half-truths or fabrications, but what they had to hide, compelled them to stay silent.
