DAY NINE: “O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?” [1] Most High God, we praise and honor You who lives forever: For Your dominion is an everlasting dominion, and Your kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; You do according to Your will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain Your hand or say to You, “What have You done?” [2] You alone are the one True and Living God, and we, Your children, come before You this morning on behalf of our country, our President, and ourselves.
