FLAG robert-linder-fcFEnjBmm14-unsplash “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” [1]   Holy, holy, holy LORD, I am at a loss as to how to pray for A m e r i c a today. But when I asked, I felt You led me to pray specifically for our President, Vice-President, Secretary of War, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and all our military. These are the men You chose to be in power at this time in history, and to be Your servants as Cyrus the Great was Your servant. [2] Please give them wisdom, clarity, discernment, eyes to see You and the path forward, ears to hear Your voice, and hearts to understand Your will and how You want it carried out. Save our Republic, LORD God, for only You can.   Father, while domestic issues at home are on the rise, the Iran war is again taking its toll. These wonderful men You have placed in A m e r i c a ’ s highest offices do not understand the type of people they are dealing with in Ira...

Are You Ready For Change?

Change is in the air – can you feel it? A change of season approaches with cooler nights and shorter days. Our flora and fauna change – fall flowers wear deeper hues and trees sport orange , gold and red leaves. Animals grow thicker coats instinctively preparing for winter. Change is part of our world. Genesis 8:22 says, “While the earth remains, seedtime and h a r v e s t , cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.” Nobody experienced more change than Noah and his family. The global flood changed the face of the earth. Nothing remained the same except for those on the ark. They must have felt as though they were stepping out on an alien planet. Nevertheless, Almighty God was there with His covenant and rainbow. He was their one u n w a v e r i n g constant who says, “ I am the Lord, I change not .”

Has God Made You Laugh?

Have there been things in your life you never thought would take place, because you prayed and prayed, but nothing changed? When you began this quest, did you cling to Psalm 37:4’s promise of when we delight in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our heart, only to realize His answer was no or not now? Did you pout and get angry or take matters into your own hands? Did your solution backfire or did you finally accept things as they were?        Imagine Sarah, Abraham’s wife, would answer with a resounding “Yes”, considering the years of praying for God to open her womb. Each month her prayer and anticipation, just to experience great disappointment and pain when conception did not take place. Month after month, year after year, the same thing; after a while it can make you a bit numb and desperate. Finally, as a last resort, Sarah suggested something despicable; something I believe, she would never have agreed to under any oth...

Miracles in the Wilderness Series - Lesson 2 - God's Deliverance Begins

Many generations have passed. God’s promise to Abram has now happened. God took Abram from “Exalted Father” and gave him a name befitting His promise, Abraham, “Father of a Multitude”. Abraham’s wife Sarai, now Sarah, meaning Princess, bore a son at age ninety by a miracle of God. This son of promise, God named Isaac. Isaac and his wife Rebekah, after twenty years of barrenness, bore twin sons, Esau and Jacob. The younger, Jacob, as prophesied, received the birthright and blessing. Almighty God blessed Jacob with twelve sons and chose Judah, the fourth son of Jacob’s wife Leah, to carry on His promise to Abraham. However, it was Joseph, the first-born son of Jacob’s most beloved wife, Rachel, whom God appointed to save many people alive.
