Seventeen Days of Prayer - Day Three - January 6, 2021
I've been working on this prayer since 6 am and I've just now finished. The Lord gave me Job 23:12 this morning when I started but when I read the chapter I knew it was our prayer for today. DAY THREE: O Lord my God, I am grieved, my complaint is bitter, and my hand is listless because of my groaning. Father, things in our world look bleak and while we try to stand strong in the power of Your might, Your children are frail, and unsure of what You are doing. Sometimes, Lord, we feel as though we cannot find You, yet because of Your Holy Spirit, we know You are there. Help us to gaze upon Your throne and see you seated with our spiritual eyes. Give us opportunity to present our case before You. Take note of us in Your great power. Hear our arguments; answer us with clarity and understanding because we cannot see Your hand. Lord our nation is in chaos and we, as your upright children, desire to reason with our great and merciful Judge. Give Your divine wisdom to ...
