Happy Birthday, Charlie Kirk, and Congratulations!

  Charlie Kirk  www.bing.com 9.11.25 Happy 32 nd earthly Birthday, Charlie, but Happy Birthday Number One in heaven.   We miss you terribly and are so thankful for the time the LORD allowed you to stay and teach us.   Charlie demonstrated how to love one another, and he spoke the Truth in love. Those of the Truth loved Charlie. But Jesus said, if the world hates us, it is because they hated Him first. [1] Truly, the world hated Charlie, but he loved them enough to speak truth in a way they could understand.   “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free .’ Therefore if the Son makes you free , you shall be free indeed.” [2]   Because of Jesus Christ, God the Son, Charlie was free indeed, and that’s why he championed FREEDOM . Several years ago, my neighbors had two mammoth trees in their front yard that stood very close to their house. Because the trees were showing signs of age and would cause damage if they fell, my neighbors decided to cut them down. However, they left a good portion of the stumps, intending for a sculptor to carve beautiful figures.   We all know how good intentions go by the wayside, and theirs did, too. For a while, the tall stumps just stood there branchless. Then, to our surprise, we started to see sprouts coming from the tops of these “dead” stumps. The roots were still alive.   As the LORD gave Isaiah his great commission, He told him to go and tell his countrymen to see but not see, hear but not hear, make their hearts dull, ears heavy, and shut their eyes.
