A Treat For My Friends
To you, my friend.
Every person who reads one of
my posts is my friend. I don't know you, and the reality is, you don’t know me,
but I love you. You may live a thousand miles away or across the street, yet if
you know or want to know my LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, you are my
friend, and we are family.
How is that possible? Ephesians
tells us “…we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.”[1]
I know this concept is hard to understand, so let’s think of a human body.
There are many parts, hands, feet, arms, legs, eyes, nose, and mouth. There are
also parts we keep covered, and even parts inside that we do not see. Well…
It’s the same with the body of Christ.
God speaking through Paul calls
our body parts members, “For as the body is one and has many members, but
all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.”[2]
What’s Almighty God saying? His
point is even though we are different, and God has given us different spiritual
gifts, we remain ONE body in Christ Jesus. When one part of our human body is
hurt our whole body feels it. So, too, with the body of Christ. When one member
suffers, we all suffer, AND when one member is honored, we all rejoice.
Friend, today we rejoice!!
Some of you may know, yet most of
you do not, but each Sunday morning, I am privileged to sing with our First Service
Worship Team at Alliance Friends Church.[3] Wait, don’t give me too
much credit, I’m just a back-up singer, more or less, not a soloist. Still, I am
honored to stand and sing beside our lovely soloist, Allie Noble.
Occasionally, we in first
service, are joined by the very talented musician, guitarist, singer, and
lyricist, Rick Baxter, and it’s always a blessing.
So, friend, here’s your treat:
Rick Baxter of Carnation City Worship, wrote a song, “I Believe In Miracles” that just hit YouTube last night.
Allie Noble is the vocalist, and, I am thrilled to share it with you. Click on the above video or click the link below.

I pray you are as blessed as I
was when I heard this incredible song. Click the like button on YouTube and
share it far and wide.
Friends and Family, I love you all.
