America 250 – TEN Days of PRAYER – Day Ten

Heavenly Father, You did it! You
gave
America 250 Years of Blessing!
Thank You!
Thank You not only
for the physical freedom of this land, but also for preappointing our time and
the boundary of our dwelling, so we should seek You,[1] and celebrate this amazing
country.
Holy, holy, holy, LORD, You alone deserve
glory, honor, and power, but above all, our
worship.[2]
LORD, when I think
about the history of America, it wasn’t
just deciding to break from Great Britain and signing our Declaration of
Independence. It was these heroic men backing up that decision with action, a
willingness to die to make men free, which became the Battle Hymn of OUR
Republic.[3]
And why? Because it was exactly what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us.[4]
I know You, O God,
placed that determination within the hearts of each founding father, each
officer, and soldier who fought in the Revolutionary War and every war since. For
those who fought and died and for those who fought and lived, thank You,
Sovereign LORD.
While America has enjoyed 250 years of Your blessing
of freedom because we loved You and honored You in our founding documents, America is eroding from within. Lawlessness abounds,
and the love of many has grown cold.[5] The enemy of our souls,
the devil, Satan, and his minions[6] have infiltrated the
hearts of the perishing. Those who reject You are gaining ground in America, and we, Your children, feel helpless to
stop this tide of evil.
As Judah’s King Jehoshaphat
feared and set himself to seek Your face, LORD, we now do the same. You, LORD,
own it all. You are God in heaven and in the universe You created. You rule all,
and in Your hand alone is power and might, so no one is able to withstand You.
We humbly bow in Your presence and cry out to You in our affliction. Please
hear and save America, for we have no power against this great
multitude coming against us, Your people, who are trying to keep America the land of the free and the home of the
brave.
Regarding those who
have been caught in the enemy’s snare, LORD, we have tried to appeal to their sense
of common decency and patriotism, yet to no avail. We are at a loss to know what
else to do to stop them from destroying the country You gave us.
Therefore, our eyes are upon You,[7] O LORD God Almighty,
for only You can save America.
Give President
Trump, Vice-President Vance, their cabinet, all our Representatives and Senators,
State and Local governments, our Military Leaders—Pete Hegseth, General Caine,
and Tom Holman—every Army, Navy, Marine, National Guard, Border Patrol, and I.C.E.
officer and soldier eyes to see the enemy and hearts to understand what is at
stake. Give them Your wisdom and protection as they do their job in keeping America safe.
Please, LORD, help American citizens to love You and the country You gave us.
In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray,
Amen and Amen!
