AMERICA 250 – TEN Days of PRAYER – Day Three

God Most High, who is Three-in-One—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—please deliver America from evil.[1]

As we who love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength pray, seek Your face, repent of our personal sins, and the sins of our nation, LORD, honor Your Word—heal our hearts and then our land.[2]

In just seven days, we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday and what a celebration it will be! But as we do, O God, give us the determination to continue working hard to take this country back from the evil that has stolen it—seeking to erase it and You.

Your Word tells us, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”[3] While we understand this Psalm speaks to Israel as Your inheritance, You also established and protected America and its people. However, many have expelled You from their hearts just the way the “courts” have barred You from the classroom.

Thankfully, some states are coming back to sanity, and You. Yet mostly our children are taught the garbage of the world, and not TRUTH from Your Word. And because of this, children and young adults are confused, hopeless, and in despair. Many see no purpose or reason to live. And when the enemy’s lies cause such excruciating emotional pain, they see suicide as their only way out. Father, please stop this epidemic of evil. Families are suffering. We need You, for true hope only comes through knowing Jesus Christ, God the Son, our Blessed Hope.[4]

Help us speak the name of Jesus into every conversation and teach Your Holy Word diligently to our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Give us opportunities to share the Word when we sit with them, take walks, tuck them into bed, and wake them in the morning.[5] There is nothing more important. And by Your Word, O LORD, change their hearts, for only You can.

Thank You, Most High, for hearing our prayer and answering according to Your Will.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
